Check your pay stubs for errors

The bot compares your pay stubs with what you should be paid and drafts a note to your employer when something is short.

Starting prompt (adapted)

Review my pay stubs for the last few months against my offer letter or contract, checking pay rate, hours, overtime, deductions, and withholding. List any differences with the stub and line they come from and the amount per pay period. If you find a shortfall, draft a polite note to my employer or payroll team for me to review, and don't send it without my OK. Leave my SSN and full bank account numbers out of your notes.

Written for this site from what the cases below did. It is a starting point, not a prompt anyone posted. Fill in the parts in brackets.

What you still do

  • Review and send the letter to the employer
  • Confirm the back pay on the next paycheck

Where it tends to fail

  • Single text-only claim; no stub or corrected check shown
  • No exact figure for the shortfall
  • The stub alone can't show what you're owed without your contract terms

How well it's backed up

So far this is a single text-only claim: the poster says the employer fixed a recurring shortfall, with no exact figure or stub shown.

Text only: 1.
