Check your products for recalls

The bot checks products you own against recall notices and looks for refunds or fixes you may be owed.

Starting prompt (adapted)

Go through my purchase receipts and order history and list the products I own, with model details where you can find them. Check each one against official recall databases and the maker's recall pages, and tell me what remedy is offered: refund, repair, or replacement. Draft any recall claim for my review, and do not submit it or share my personal details without my approval. Save the maker's confirmation and tell me what they confirmed versus what you expect.

Written for this site from what the cases below did. It is a starting point, not a prompt anyone posted. Fill in the parts in brackets.

What you still do

  • Confirm which products you still own
  • Review and submit the recall claim
  • Follow up until the payout arrives

Where it tends to fail

  • Recall found, but no payout reported
  • Text-only claim bundled with another job
  • Recall remedies vary by product and country

How well it's backed up

So far this is a single text-only claim: a recall was found, but no payout was reported, and the same post bundles an unrelated warranty fix.

Text only: 1.
