Turn school messages into one digest

The bot reads school emails, portals, and parent chat groups and sends a short daily or evening list of what is due, where to be, and what to sign or pay.

Starting prompt (adapted)

Every evening, read my kids' school emails, school app and portal messages, and parent group chats, and check the school calendars. Send me one short list for the next day and week: what's due, events, kit to pack, forms to sign, and payments, each with a link to its source. Add dates to our shared calendar and flag anything urgent the night before. Don't submit forms, make payments, or send emails to teachers without asking me first.

Written for this site from what the cases below did. It is a starting point, not a prompt anyone posted. Fill in the parts in brackets.

What you still do

  • Teach it which emails to keep or discard
  • Choose who gets the digest, such as a partner
  • Review drafted teacher emails and forms
  • Act on the list: pack kit, sign forms, pay fees

Where it tends to fail

  • Almost all posts are text only, with no time saved measured
  • Several posts say Grok, which may mean the chat app
  • Filtering depends on teaching it which messages matter

How well it's backed up

This saves time, not money. Posts are almost all text only, and several say Grok without clearly meaning Grok Bot.
