Chase a refund

The bot files the refund request, follows up with the store or carrier, and tracks it until the money posts.

Starting prompt (adapted)

Get my money back for [order or booking] that [never arrived / was cancelled / arrived damaged]. Find the order and any tracking in my email, file the refund request or complaint with the seller, and contact the carrier if delivery is in question. Include the photos or delivery records I give you as evidence. Follow up until the seller answers, ask me before accepting store credit, a replacement, or anything less than a full refund, and never enter card numbers yourself. Save the seller's written confirmation and tell me when the refund actually posts to my card versus when it was only promised.

Written for this site from what the cases below did. It is a starting point, not a prompt anyone posted. Fill in the parts in brackets.

What you still do

  • Tell the bot which order went wrong
  • Provide photos or doorbell video as evidence
  • Check your card statement for the refund

Where it tends to fail

  • A promised refund is not the same as money on your card
  • No post shows a card statement or the seller's email
  • Store credit or a replacement may be offered instead of cash

How well it's backed up

Most posts are text-only. The strongest is the bot's own report that a full refund reached the card, with no statement or merchant email shown.

Text only: 4 · Bot's own report: 1.
